The Skill-Session by Workspace1 is a series of creative, short, and practical workshops that will bring an expert of a specific field.
For the upcoming Skill-Session, we would like to introduce to you our speaker for topic of Microsoft Excel (Level: Basic), Andrew Bashfield, who is a professional teacher and trainer in business and technical software and soft skills. He has over 30 years of experience working with international and local technology organisations in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia including senior roles in sales and marketing management with major software and data vendors Intermap, Intergraph, Autodesk and Bentley Systems.

- Core concepts behind spreadsheets
- Learning Keyboard shortcuts including whhat to do when you lose data
- Simple formulas, Calculating Totals and Summaries – the main point of Excel
- Improving the appearance of the spreadsheet using colour, fonts and styles
- Cell References and a Constant Value with $ symbol (Great for currency calculations)
- Creating Picklists to make selection easy
