Here you go, we've dropped the ball! Aside from being in the co-working industry for quite sometime and understanding all its perks, we also realize that it isn't for everyone. So how do you know if coworking isn't for you?

1. You’re comfortable working from home.

Everyone has their own ways of being productive. Working from home might be unproductive and unprofessional for some others, as they might not feel as pressured to get their work done. And for some people, being in an office can be too professional and limiting to their creativity. This is where co-working becomes the balance between home and traditional office. But hey, whether working from home, office, or co-working space, as long as it works for you, then you should do more of it.

2. You do not like too much interactions at work.

Depending on the type of job you have, sometimes you get more done when you are completely alone. You don't like the balance of work and play; in fact, you want to separate it. This is a personal choice and sometimes the work you do requires complete isolation, and we totally respect that.

3. You don’t enjoy networking or events.

Most co-working spaces provide opportunities for their members to network and meet people from different backgrounds, and usually it's done through events or social meet-ups. If you're someone who doesn't enjoy that, it's totally fair and understandable.

4. You believe that coffee shops can be your professional workspace.

The coworking environment can be overwhelming for you, if you're someone who likes the chaos of coffee shops and the sound of the coffee machines. Some people do their best work at these kinds of environments, and they feel safe being around strangers and surrounded by the strong smells of coffee. And you know what? That's totally fine!

Our point is...

It's all about renovating "work experience". We believe that people should be able to express themselves everywhere, at work, home, vacation. Co-working provides an opportunity for people to interact and share a space, isolate themselves if needed, and continue seeking for the best way to be most productive. What's best about most co-working spaces is that they are equipped with necessities that help you complete all the microtasks you need to do in your life so that you can put your focus into creating the most important work.

What I think we get wrong about co-working is that you need to interact or network all the time, but often times, all you need to do is  just be yourself and let the environment bring out the best in you.
